Sign-indefinite second order differential operators on finite metric graphs

The question of self-adjoint realizations of sign-indefinite second order differential operators is discussed in terms of a model problem. Operators of the type $-\frac{d}{dx} \sgn (x) \frac{d}{dx}$ are generalized to finite, not necessarily compact, metric graphs. All self-adjoint realizations are parametrized using methods from extension theory. The spectral and scattering theory of the self-adjoint realizations are studied in detail.

Constrained differential inclusions with nonlocal initial conditions

International audience; We show existence for the perturbed sweeping process with nonlocal initial conditions under very general hypotheses. Periodic, anti-periodic, mean value and multipoints conditions are included in this study. We give abstract results for differential inclusions with nonlocal initial conditions through bounding functions and tangential conditions. Some applications to differential complementarity systems and to vector hysteresis are given.

Abstract Based on participatory research with teachers and young learners’, this article explores students’ perceptions of learning about sexual and gender-based harassment in upper secondary school in Norway. Drawing upon theoretical considerations on recognition, intersectionality and legal literacy as educational capital, this article discusses approaches to teaching and learning that could ensure young learners’ rights to active participation and voice, which is an essential element for protection and prevention of harassment. Masteroppgave økonomi og administrasjon - Universitetet i Agder 2016 I 2012 la regjeringen fram et lovforslag til et nytt krav om at store foretak skal rapportere om hvordan de følger opp sitt samfunnsansvar. Regjeringen ønsket med dette at et lovfestet rapporteringskrav ville bidra til økt åpenhet og at det skal motivere flere foretak til å integrere og tenke samfunnsansvar i virksomheten. Fra og med regnskapsåret 2013 ble regnskapsloven § 3-3c innført, og store foretak har vært pliktige til å gi en årlig rapportering om deres ikke-finansielle resultater. Statistics of transitions for Markov chains with periodic forcing

The influence of a time-periodic forcing on stochastic processes can essentially be emphasized in the large time behaviour of their paths. The statistics of transition in a simple Markov chain model permits to quantify this influence. In particular the first Floquet multiplier of the associated generating function can be explicitly computed and related to the equilibrium probability measure of an associated process in higher dimension. An application to the stochastic resonance is presented.

Darboux integrable system with a triple point and pseudo-abelian integrals

We study pseudo-abelian integrals associated with polynomial perturbations of Dar-boux integrable system with a triple point. Under some assumptions we prove the local boundedness of the number of their zeros. Assuming that this is the only non-genericity, we prove that the number of zeros of the corresponding pseudo-abelian integrals is bounded uniformly for nearby Darboux integrable foliations.
New trials in the consolidation of waterlogged archaeological wood with different acetone-carried products

Some acetone-carried consolidants for waterlogged archaeological wood were tested in order to evaluate treatments able to save time and energy. In details, colophony (rosin), two esterified colophonies (Rosin 100® and Rosin 459®), a mixture of colophony with PEG 3400 and a vinyl acetate - vinyl versate copolymer (Vinavil 8020S®) were tested. The treatments were carried out at temperatures of 20 and 35 °C on waterlogged maritime pine, elm, oak and beech.
